Thanks for your interest in participating in the Indie Craft Experience. We are seeking vendors who make handcrafted creations or art with an indie aesthetic and vintage vendors selling items from all decades. All items sold at the Indie Craft Experience must be handmade by you or must be vintage. This is a juried event with a limited number of slots. We receive many applications and cannot accept everyone.
There is no burning products of any kind allowed. This includes but is not limited to candles and incense.
We will not consider your application if it is not complete or if we receive it after the deadline. A complete application includes all the information we request below and payment.
Fee: The fee to participate is $85 ($10 processing fee + $75). You will put a card on file, and pay the $10 processing fee upfront. Upon acceptance, your card will be charged the remaining booth fee of $75. If you are not accepted, you will not be charged the $75.
For those accepted, we offer a short grace period after acceptance emails are sent out. This is the only opportunity to receive a refund. If accepted, but you are unable to participate we will offer a refund of $75 (there is a $10 processing fee) if you notify us by APRIL 24. After that, we cannot offer a refund – no exceptions.
If the event is canceled due to severe weather, other Acts of God (example: a major surge in number of COVID-19 cases in our area or another pandemic) or conditions beyond the control of the Indie Craft Experience, we will offer a refund of 50% of the booth fee ($75). We cannot offer a full refund because of the extensive expenses of producing an event. Cancellation will be determined by the venue with input from the Indie Craft Experience.
Sharing: Booth sharing is allowed at this particular event.
Space: Each vendor will have a space that is 10 ft. wide x 10 ft. deep. A tent is permitted but is not required. If you bring a tent, please bring proper tent weights as well. The space is completely empty so vendors are responsible for providing their entire display: table, chairs, table clothes, racks, etc. We do NOT have tables and chairs for you to rent.
We have an extremely small staff, and it is your responsibility to haul your belongings and to set up & break down your display. We suggest doing a mock set up at your home/studio before the event by marking the space on the floor and setting up your display so you can see the amount of space you have to work with.
Day of the Event: The event takes place at The Lawn at Uptown Atlanta on Saturday, June 1st from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain date will be Sunday June 2nd
Set up will be done on a staggered schedule Saturday morning. We will send out the schedule to vendors who are accepted. It is very important that everyone respect the time slot they are given. There will be a thru road in between The Lawn and the parking deck where you can park to unload. There will be free parking for vendors in the deck.
Please, do not break down early. You are expected to remain set up until 4 p.m. If you break down early we may not be able to accept you for future markets. If you have to break down early due to an emergency please let us know (even if it is via email after the fact).
Responsibility: The Indie Craft Experience, Atlanta Humane Society, and Uptown Atlanta are not responsible for personal injury or any items damaged or stolen during the duration of the event (including move-in, move-out, and the hours of the event). It is the responsibility of each vendor to transport their belongings and to not leave valuables unattended. The Indie Craft Experience and Monday Night Brewing are not responsible for your belongings. Vendors are encouraged to purchase their own event insurance if interested. Our policy does not cover vendors. The Indie Craft Experience, Atlanta Humane Society, and Uptown Atlanta are not responsible for any inherent risk associated with contracting COVID-19 at public gatherings.
